Canada is a country to be envied.
Our system of government is based on rule of law and jurisprudence.
Canadians are free to speak, worship, own property, and do business without fear of punishment from the government.
Sadly, this freedom is now under threat from the Trudeau Liberals, starting with an attack on small business owners being denied access to Summer Student Job funding simply because they refuse to let government tell them what to believe.
The attacks on small businesses don’t end there, however.
The Liberal government ignores the realities of running a small business.
These are regular folk working 80 hours a week or more, forgoing family vacations, maternity leave, sick days and so much more while they build lasting legacies in every community across Canada.
This Liberal government chooses to speak of businesses as enemies of the state, instead of recognizing that small business in Canada have always been the lifeblood of our communities.
Mom and Pop shops serving neighbours with everything from eggs to entertainment and groceries to gas. They help build a better neighbourhood one transaction at a time.
Yet the Liberals are placing increasing burdens on business owners, in part to get more taxes to pay for their reckless spending.
Tamara will stand up for business owners and fight to make sure they are free to do business.
And she will be a strong voice for individual freedoms of speech, religion and expression.
Strong communities grow out of the courage of risk taking business men and women. We should be thanking them - not punishing them.
